Education
Mrs. Hernandez attended the St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, graduating in 1997 with a B.B.A. in Human Resource Management and a Minor in English Communications. She then attended St. Mary’s University School of Law where she graduated in 2000 with a Juris Doctorate Degree.

Mrs. Hernandez is admitted to practice in the state of Texas, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Professional Experience
Mrs. Hernandez has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation. She has been a practicing attorney for over 17 years. Her litigation experience includes early case assessment and investigation, all facets of discovery, including depositions and e-discovery, motion practice, court appearances, pre-trial preparation, trial and settlement. She has courtroom experience, having tried cases as both first and second chair to jury verdicts. She has also successfully argued summary judgment motions on behalf of her clients. Mrs. Hernandez litigates cases throughout Texas. She practiced the first 14 years of her career in Corpus Christi, Texas. She moved to the firm’s San Antonio office in 2015, continuing her work with existing clients from South Texas and is growing her business base in Bexar County. Her primary focus includes personal injury litigation and oil and gas litigation. Mrs. Hernandez has defended numerous catastrophic injury and fatality cases (industrial, gas plant, third party work injury, and propane litigation) in a wide range of industries. Other areas of experience include environmental contamination claims, trespass, breach of surface use agreements, landowner disputes, oil rig injuries, and other related matters involving her oil and gas clientele. Mrs. Hernandez has the honor of representing Fortune 500 companies, large privately held companies, and even small business entities throughout the State.

Personal
Mrs. Hernandez and her husband, Dr. Lee Hernandez are the proud parents of four children; two girls and two boys. Whenever time permits, Marcy and Lee enjoy attending sporting events, barbequing and traveling.
